Global EV sales clear 2 million in June as US falls further behind
June marked the first month in which the world sold more than 2 million electric vehicles, pushing year-to-date totals to 9.6 million. The US accounted for a shrinking slice: GM's EV sales fell 60% year-on-year in Q2, Ford's off by more than half — consequences of the federal tax credit expiring last September.
